The original shower enclosure had deteriorated to the point where water was escaping behind finished surfaces and traveling into the structure of the home.

By the time the leak was discovered, the kitchen ceiling directly below had already sustained visible damage.

Left unaddressed, the issue could have led to mold growth, rot, and escalating repair costs.

The homeowner needed a permanent solution rather than a surface-level patch.
